The Law of The Garbage Truck

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches!The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy; and I mean, he was really friendly. So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!'
This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the GarbageTruck.'He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on.
Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.
The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day.
Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so...... 'Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't.'
Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it.

I feel like this week is dragging since I am wanting this weekend to get here so fast!!! I can't wait. Saturday will be so much fun and then I get to go on the Mexican Riviera Cruise and leave all your butts here to have fun in the Snow!!! HA HA. jk

Everthing falls apart

So we officially had our Broker!!! We were set to close on our condo today and the Broker calls at 9:00am todya and tells me that she has one condition left.The condition is WE HAVE TO BE MARRIED BEFORE THEY WILL APPROVE DOCS!!!!! The reason for this condition is it is a VA Loan. Well supposably this lady has done many many VA loans but never knew of this condition. She also said that this is something new that the Government just came out with.
So I made a phone call to another broker of ours that we work with all the time. He said that this is a condition that has always been there and does not know why our Broker now did not tell us this.
I cannot tell you how Livid the both of us our!!!!! I could punch her in the face. Soooooo now Chase and I do not have a home to move into when we get back from our honeymoon. It takes at least a month for us to get our marriage license back from the County and it has to be turned in to use that loan.
Looks like we will not be home owners till the Beginning of December.

P.S. we are dropping the current Broker on her ass and going with someone we can trust.

Building Stress

I never imagined buying a home would be such a pain in the ass! So far I have seen so many problems with our condo. We have walked through differn't stages of the building process and it seemed to be okay until they got closer and closer to the ending stages.
We went 3 weeks ago and they had installed the cabinets. Well they were dented and had nails coming through the wood. The window they had installed to our living room looks like they took a hammer to it on the outside.
2 weeks ago they laid the carpet and it looked pretty good. I went back to look at it today and they had ripped up the carpet they just laid!!!!!!! What the hell are they doing? We had paid to have the padding upgraded, bet you a million bucks they ripped it up to put a lower grade pad in their thinking we would not notice.
Good thing we have our walk through with the builder on Monday. I will not be nice or leanient with anything. They will fix any problem I may have before I sign those papers. I hate that just because the market is they way it is right now that builders think they can half ass their work just to save a penny!!!! Grrrrrr. *#@^% Grrr.

Anyways, enough of my stressful home situation. Chase went on the deer hunt this weekend so I am at home doing nothing. I have tried to find things to do to keep myself busy. I prepared the gift bags for my bridesmaid's gifts as well as prepped the flower girls baskets. I was thinking about putting most of my things in boxes to prep for the move, but I have no where to put the boxes in my small bedroom unless I want to be sleeping on top of them.

Reba and Kelly

Friday night we went to the Reba and Kelly Concert.It was one of the best concerts I have been too. Both of them have the most amazing voices, I would go to either oneof their concerts again.

Bridal Photos

Yesterday I had my Bridal Photos taken at Thanksgiving Point gardens. It was way fun! I hope the pictures turn out beautiful!
For the bad part, half way through the session I looked down at my dress and noticed I had Purple streaks of something running across my dress. I have no idea where they came from. I don't remember leaning up against anything purple. So I took it right to the dry cleaners after the shoot. So I hope whatever it is comes out.
Then as I went to grab my jewelry out of my bag, I opened it and found out i grabbed the wrong box. So I had no Jewelry. I had to ask my sister in law who did my hair if she had anything I could borrower. She had a few things, so I hope they look Okay.

Flowers

My sister, myself and Chase went the other night to get the flowers situated. I found a perfect assortment for my flowers. I think they will be pretty. They will be Burgundy roses with Ivory Freshia and I will have a bouquet for my bridals on Monday.
